"WHO IS MIROSLAVA DUMA?!

-The better question is: why don't you know HER!?

So, I was browsing through some street style flix by the awesome photographer Tommy Ton & I see this picture of this chic in a pair of leather winter shorts -OMG, I had literally just raved about leather winter shorts in a recent post...and then I read Tommy's caption underneath about how she's some fashion editor in her 20's!!! YOUNG, STYLISH, & a SUCCESSFUL FASHION EDITOR?? I was like who the heck is Miroslava Duma! I had to find out more about her!

After doing much AND I DO MEAN MUCH googling, bing'n, yahoo'n I didn't find that much (sad face) No interviews no nothing. However, here's the gist of what I got.......

Ms. Duma is only 25 years old! She comes from a very wealthy family and was a fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar (Russia) and now is a contributing editor for OK! (Russia) as well as other popular mags. She is, also, married to a Russian man who is very well off as well!

In the midst of doing most of my research on the petite gal, I couldn't help but fall in love with each and every fit she had on! It was like a major girl crush (no homo) lol!! Her wardrobe just had such range......

One day she's a glamorous Russian socialite that's well sophisticated beyond her years... THEN the next she's in trendy street rags looking like a true New Yorker!

Or some days, she is bohemian chic n' laid back. But, with every step she takes, with every inner fashionista she channels, she pulls it off! (sidebar: don't you just love the Chanel tee & jacket)

I, also, like how she mixes what she already has with other garments. You know that can really be hard to do especially if you're so use to wearing the same outfit, the same way, every single damn time. I am very guilty of this.

For her to be so wealthy, she probably could easily wear things only one time & be sooo done with it. So, I like the fact that she switches up accessories in her own closet to create new looks!



Also, notice how she pairs most of her fits with black pumps, black boots-you catch my drift. Its usually ALWAYS black! So versatile so genius....It just made me want to buy lots of black shoes & work it!

She even inspired me.....ME to accessorize-which is something I DON'T do unless its a pair of pearl studs!



All in all, Ms. Duma's style tells a lot about her! So, with or without the extra footage I wanted to create her post,her personality still spoke volumes! I felt like I got to know her very well through her evolution of style & flair! Clearly she doesn't need the money by working with these magazines, but her desire for fashion is evident!

Whether she's sitting front row at a major show during fashion week or just walking the sidewalks of the city- She's definitely a chameleon when it comes to style. Overall, She just seems like a kool chic! Fun & very approachable, living her life to the fullest!
